FAQ
Common Questions

- Book online at crescenthealth.intakeq.com/booking, or call or text us at (385) 438-3255. Same-week availability is often available.
- We don't offer therapy directly, but we actively collaborate with therapists and can provide referrals to ensure you receive comprehensive care.
- Medication management is an ongoing process where a psychiatric provider evaluates your symptoms, prescribes the appropriate medication, monitors its effectiveness, and adjusts your treatment plan over time. At Crescent Health Clinic, Sheenali Kansagra PMHNP-BC provides personalized psychiatric medication management for ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and more.
- We are located at 11193 South Redwood Road, Suite 102N, South Jordan, Utah 84095, serving the Salt Lake County area. We also offer telehealth appointments statewide throughout Utah.
- Yes. As a board-certified PMHNP-BC, Sheenali Kansagra has prescriptive authority in Utah, including controlled substances such as stimulant ADHD medications, when they are clinically appropriate and follow a thorough evaluation. Unlike some same-day clinics, we can prescribe and manage controlled-substance medications as part of ongoing care.
- Both diagnose mental health conditions and prescribe and manage medication. A psychiatrist is a physician (MD/DO); a PMHNP is a master's- or doctorate-prepared, board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who practices in Utah with prescriptive authority. Sheenali Kansagra PMHNP-BC brings more than 10 years of psychiatric experience and continuity of care with one provider.
- Most patients do not need a referral to schedule with us. A few insurance plans require one for behavioral health, so we recommend confirming your benefits when you book. Call or text (385) 438-3255 and we'll help verify your coverage.
- We accept most major Utah insurance plans, so many patients pay only their plan copay. Self-pay visits are available at transparent rates, generally in the $150–$250 per-visit range, with initial evaluations at the higher end and follow-ups lower. Call or text (385) 438-3255 to confirm current rates and verify benefits.
